About Show Up

Past a certain age, there's no easy, no-stakes way for grown adults to actually go somewhere with someone new. We built Show Up to fix exactly that.

The problem

Dating apps want romance. Networking wants your job. Group chats fizzle out. So you stay in — again. Meanwhile a whole city is out there: parks, galleries, riversides, roadside suya. The hard part was never the places. It was the nudge to leave the house with another person.

What we made

Show Up matches you with one person nearby who shares your vibe — or a friend you invite — then helps you both pick a spot, agree on a time, and actually turn up. You find each other with a private two-word code. No photos, no profiles to scroll, no swiping.
